Imagine looking up from your bed to see the sky through dozens of holes in a rusted tin roof, knowing the heavy monsoon rains are just weeks away. For 40 to 50 landless families living along a government canal in Taraganj, Rangpur, this is their terrifying reality. কল্পনা করুন, আপনি আপনার বিছানা থেকে আকাশ দেখছেন—একটি জীর্ণ টিনের ছাদের অসংখ্য ছিদ্র দিয়ে। আর জানেন, কয়েক সপ্তাহের মধ্যেই প্রবল বর্ষা আসছে। রংপুরের তারাগঞ্জে একটি সরকারি খালের পাশে বসবাসরত ৪০-৫০টি ভূমিহীন পরিবারের জন্য এটাই নির্মম বাস্তবতা।
When our team visited this community, we didn’t just see poverty—we witnessed a desperate fight for survival. Families are crammed into tiny, fragile shelters with mud floors. Some homes don’t even have walls; they use old lungis and torn bedsheets as makeshift barriers. Up to five families share a single space without any toilet or bathing facility. আমাদের টিম যখন এই এলাকাটি পরিদর্শন করে, আমরা শুধু দারিদ্র্য দেখিনি—আমরা দেখেছি বেঁচে থাকার মরিয়া সংগ্রাম। ছোট, দুর্বল ঘরে গাদাগাদি করে থাকে পরিবারগুলো। অনেক ঘরে দেয়াল নেই; লুঙ্গি ও ছেঁড়া চাদর দিয়ে কোনোভাবে আড়াল করা। কোনো কোনো ক্ষেত্রে পাঁচটি পরিবার একটি ঘরে থাকে, নেই কোনো টয়লেট বা গোসলের ব্যবস্থা।
An Impossible Choice একটি অসম্ভব সিদ্ধান্ত
No parent should have to trade their faith or dignity just to survive. Yet extreme poverty forces families into impossible choices. কোনো বাবা-মায়েরই বেঁচে থাকার জন্য নিজের ঈমান বা মর্যাদা বিসর্জন দেওয়া উচিত নয়। কিন্তু চরম দারিদ্র্য তাদের এমন কঠিন সিদ্ধান্ত নিতে বাধ্য করছে।
Missionary organizations take advantage of this hardship, offering benefits while influencing children from an early age. Local heroes like Mawlana Isa Ruhullah are working tirelessly to protect their faith through maktabs—but spiritual support alone is not enough without basic living conditions. এই অসহায়তার সুযোগ নিচ্ছে বিভিন্ন মিশনারি সংগঠন, যারা কিছু সুবিধার বিনিময়ে শিশুদের ছোটবেলা থেকেই প্রভাবিত করছে। মাওলানা ঈসা রুহুল্লাহর মতো মানুষ মক্তবের মাধ্যমে প্রতিরোধ গড়ে তুলছেন—কিন্তু ন্যূনতম বাসস্থানের অভাবে শুধু ধর্মীয় শিক্ষা যথেষ্ট নয়।
Building Homes, Restoring Dignity ঘর নির্মাণ, মর্যাদা ফিরিয়ে আনা
With the rainy season approaching, these homes will soon become unlivable. By building safe housing, you are not just giving shelter—you are restoring dignity and protecting faith. বর্ষা সামনে, এই ঘরগুলো শীঘ্রই বসবাসের অযোগ্য হয়ে যাবে। নিরাপদ আবাসন তৈরি মানে শুধু ঘর দেওয়া নয়—মানুষের মর্যাদা ফিরিয়ে আনা এবং তাদের ঈমান রক্ষা করা।
With approximately 250,000 BDT, we can construct 5 connected housing units with tin partitions and 2 separate toilets for men and women. প্রায় ২,৫০,০০০ টাকায় ৫টি সংযুক্ত ঘর এবং পুরুষ ও মহিলাদের জন্য ২টি আলাদা টয়লেট নির্মাণ সম্ভব।
Our goal is to raise 250,000 BDT by 7 March 2026 and begin house construction by 15 March 2026 and completed by 25 April. আমাদের লক্ষ্য হলো ৭ মার্চ ২০২৬ এর মধ্যে ২,৫০,০০০ টাকা সংগ্রহ করা এবং ১৫ মার্চ ২০২৬ এর মধ্যে ঘর নির্মাণ শুরু করা এবং ২৫ এপ্রিল এর মাঝে শেষ ঘর নির্মাণ শেষ করা
